Florida State Council Charity Raffle
The Florida State Council, Knights of Columbus, will conduct a state-wide raffle in which the proceeds will go to raise funds for local affiliated councils as well as for Florida K of C Charities, Inc.
Raffle books containing 4 raffle tickets each will be distributed directly to local councils during the organizational meeting. The number of books each council receives will be based on 50% of the council’s membership. Suggested donation is $3.00 per ticket, or $10 per book, however there is no fee to participate. Council member’s and Councils sell the tickets. The council will send a check payable to Florida State Council for $6.00 per book distributed. while retaining the other $4.00 designated for the council’s charitable programs.
For example, if a council collects donations for 300 books over the 8-month period that the raffle is operating, the council keeps $1,200 and sends $1,800 to the Florida State Council. There are no out-of-pocket costs to the local council. The Florida State Council will manage all the marketing and ticket printing costs, along with putting up the prize money.
In addition to the final drawing, there will be two other drawings for the members who are collecting donations, “Quick Start” and “Early Bird” drawings will be conducted for ticket book solicitors only. To be eligible for these drawings, ticket book solicitors must return the back cover, the tickets and donations collected by the dates indicated. All checks and ticket books with staple removed must be mailed to Raffle Chairman Jerry Graceffo, 5250 Napoli Run, Bradenton, FL. 34211.
Councils cannot be named as the solicitor or donor of a ticket. The council can purchase tickets in the name of their parish or in the name of a charity. Only an individual’s name can be put on as ticket book solicitor.
ALL RETURNED TICKET BOOKS MUST HAVE STAPLES REMOVED AND RETURNED WITH A CHECK FOR THOSE BOOKS
In Quick Start, one ticket solicitor wins $250 in the drawing to be held during the Mid-year meeting on December 16, 2025. Ticket books with backs and staples removed must be received by November 20, 2025, with the commensurate donations to be eligible.
The Early Bird drawing will take place at the FSC Board meeting on March 13, 2025. One winner will be awarded $400. Ticket books with backs and staples removed must be returned February 10, 2026, with commensurate donations to be eligible. Quick Start tickets will be included in the Early Bird drawing.
All raffle ticket distribution ends May 1, 2026. All tickets, donations and raffle tickets with staples removed must be in by May 10, 2026. The final drawing will be held at the Florida State Council - Annual Convention Dinner, May 23, 2026, in Orlando, Fl.

Solicitors/Sellers Prizes: 1st prize winning ticket gets $500.
2nd prize winning ticket gets $250.

- Contributions to the Florida State Council Knights of Columbus Charity Raffle are not deductible as a charitable donation for federal income tax purposes.
- All prizes paid by Florida State Council Knights of Columbus
- Tickets will be given one per person, must be 18 years old or older to participate or win prizes.
- Official numbered tickets only, no photocopy, reproductions or other forms accepted, cannot be combined, sold or re-distributed. Tickets have No commercial value.
